Between Memory and Image
When looking at a photograph a memory can seem so clear, it’s almost comforting. What happens when you are presented with information that alters the memory? Between Memory and Image uses quilted photographs printed on cotton using cyanotype and SolarFast with portions cut out, revealing a painted landscape that probes one’s perception of the photograph. Between Memory and Image questions the memories we hold of places, and the reliability of photographs in aiding those memories.
